Dark denim on dark denim is one of my forever go to looks. I’m wearing a dark wash denim overshirt paired with straight leg jeans for a sleek, sophisticated monochromatic silhouette that naturally elongates the body.

Effortless, versatile, and polished, this combo can easily be styled up or down. Worn year round, it strikes the perfect balance between modern and retro, all depending on the fit and how you choose to style it. ✨

A close-up high-angle self-portrait shot of Michelle Marie Sawtell showing a layered winter-to-spring transitional look. She wears a cream-colored diamond-quilted button-up overshirt with large brown tortoiseshell-style buttons open over an organic cotton rugby shirt. The rugby top features light blue and brown horizontal stripes and a cream polo collar with smaller tan buttons. Blue denim jeans are visible at the bottom.
* A top-down perspective looking down at a styled layered outfit. The look consists of dark wash blue denim jeans paired with a braided black leather belt that features a round gold buckle. A light olive green ribbed knit top is tucked into the jeans, partially unbuttoned to show a small cream-colored button. An unbuttoned dark wash blue denim overshirt frames either side of the outfit layout.
