Great style isn’t built on trends or rules. Repeating the same silhouettes and styling choices is more than okay when it’s authentic to you.
I’m a huge fan of layering base tees with overshirts and straight leg jeans and honestly I never get tired of it. Here I’m wearing the Inlet overshirt from @fahertybrand’s menswear collection. Their Inlets line also includes blazers for both men and women, all with that effortless, timeless feel.
My base tee is from @MarineLayer, a brand I always recommend for basic essentials. I love the button details down the front so much that I own it in two different colors.
Both brands really stand out to me for their commitment to sustainability and slow fashion. Faherty pieces are backed by a quality guarantee, and their fabrics truly feel top tier.
My straight-leg black denim jeans are from @LOFT. They’re made of 78% cotton, 18% lyocell, and 3% elastane, and they come in both petite and regular lengths. I highly recommend LOFT for their denim- just be sure to look for jeans made primarily with natural fibers. That makes all the difference.
Investing in well-made pieces that last will always beat over-consuming lower-quality items. Everything I’m wearing here can be mixed and matched with so many other pieces I already have in my closet and I can literally create multiple looks with ease. Fashion is about intention, longevity, and wearing what truly feels like you. Go ahead and give slow fashion a try✨
