Barrel jeans can be intimidating and honestly you either love them or hate them.  At first I was unsure how I felt about this style pant but I’m so glad I gave it a try and now I’m in love.

I am so stoked about all the options that are available. I prefer a more subtle barrel pant vs a more horseshoe or a balloon style cut. It’s been such a fun addition to my wardrobe.

The key to wearing barrel jeans is to accentuate your waist line and choose a pair that hits at the ankle.  By accentuating your waist you won’t get lost in the fabric and by choosing an ankle length you can basically wear any shoe you want. Adding a fun layer like a button down shirt, a blazer, or a denim jacket will really pull the look together effortlessly.
